Free Little Pantry
We are excited to announce a new mission during this difficult time. With Matt Chidsey’s permission, we are turning our little library into a little pantry to provide community members with pantry staples. During this time we understand that some might not be able to go to the store so we hope this little pantry will help provide them with much needed food. The pantry is stocked and open for business! If you or someone you know is in need of pantry staples please visit our pantry and take what you need. If you are able and interested in donating to our free little pantry we have a tote on the porch that you can place your donations in. Thank you for the support of this Free Little Pantry!
Our church building may be closed but that does not mean our church is closed! Sunday morning worship will be held via Facebook Live and later uploaded to our YouTube Channel. To view our most recent worship please visit our YouTube Channel!
Reading with Pastor Robin
Join us on Monday-Thursday at 10:00 via Facebook Live for Reading with Pastor Robin. Each day Pastor Robin will be reading a different children’s book for both our young and young-at-heart. Afterwards, the video will be uploaded to our YouTube Channel! Please join us on either Facebook or YouTube!
Corporate Worship Cancelled
After prayerful discernment and consulting with several sources and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, the Ohio Department of Health, and Bishop Tracy Smith Malone of the East Ohio Conference, our Sunday morning worship is cancelled until further notice. Please follow our church FaceBook page and YouTube channel.
Message from Pastor Robin regarding COVID-19
As we are not able to meet together physically right now, we realize that the church is NOT a building. The church is the people, the Body of Christ at work in the world. Our LeRoy United Methodist Church mission statement is “Love God. Love People. Serve the World.” Now more than ever it is time for the Church to be the Church! In our time of social distancing, we can be intentional about our love for God. We have more time to spend reading scripture and praying for one another and our world. We can also be very intentional in our love for people. We may not be able to express our love physically, but we can still reach out to one another by other means. Consider calling someone you haven’t spoken with in a while. Or sending a note … or an e-mail … or a text .. to express your love and care. And we have opportunity to serve the world. If you have a need or are aware of someone in need in our community, please reach out to us. We are here to help and support one another.
